PADI RESCUE AND EFR COURSE
The best buddy you can have is one who can manage his or her own self, prevent emergencies and solve problems. The PADI tescue diver course is a pivotal step in expanding your diving knowledge and experience. You will learn to look beyond yourself and consider the well being of other divers. Rescue training is serious and challenging and promises to build your confidence. Class includes instruction, confined and open water dives.
** Does not include transportation, meals, lodging, entrance fees to open water sites or scuba gear except for tanks and weights**
Prerequisites for Rescue Diver:
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, PADI Adventure Diver who completed the Navigation Adventure Dive or qualifying certification from another training organization showing proof of certification beyond entry level ( at least two (2) certifications total), experience in deep diving and underwater navigation.
Be at least 12 years of age
NOTE: 12-14 year old divers will earn the Junior Rescue Diver Certification
Must have successfully completed a sanctioned course in CPR and basic first aid within the past 24 months
Required Materials
PADI rescue manual and DVD
Accident management work slate (included with manual)
Pocket mask
Optional but recommended: First aid kit and surface signaling device
Tuition: $175 plus materials
Emergency First Responder Course: $60 plus materials
